Sage Intacct, Inc is an American provider of cloud-based Financial management and services available in five regions around the globe — including the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and South Africa. Its products offer cloud-based accounting applications that enable business payments, manage and pay bills, and facilitate payroll functions.
At Sage Intacct, I acted as Senior Level Web Developer. I worked for the Marketing dept reporting to Technical Marketing. Daily responsibilities ranged from template building to technical support.
Challenges
- Collaborated with the Web Design team to create a best-in-class corporate website
- Create Drupal 9 workflows that allow the Content team to enter digital media with little to no coding knowledge
- SEO team required feature-full templates and workflows that allow Search Engine Optimization (SEO) teams to have 100% control over images, links, and meta tags
- Content Team requested hero section templates that can accommodate image or video sections with a variety of Call to Action (CTA) buttons that track back to google analytics
Notable Features
- Website management required a Drupal version update from 7.5 to 9.1
- Website needed to be in 100% brand approval from larger parent corporation
- This version update required that all templates be upgraded from PHP to Twig
- All page URLs had to match 100% for SEO reasoning
- All previous 301 redirects needed to be present
- The website used Webp imagery with fallback for older browsers

- Load times at 1.5 seconds
- Near 100% Lighthouse score
- 100% CCPA Cookie compliance
- The Resource Center section leveraged Hushly and a GitHub API
