Challenges:
I picked up the project in a distressed state. The previous web developer had exited the project leaving work incomplete. The project had multiple elements that required completion.
I needed to create components and workflows for the content staff so they could be unburdened with writing html code.
Entire sections of the website needed to be migrated into CMS tables in order to streamline workflow for content developers.
Migrate all materials from the previous SquareSpace site to Webflow.
Connect Whitepaper content types to MailChimp using Zapier for white papers and downloads.
Work with the web design team to correct design issues. Ordinarily, I work with graphic design work completed in Figma or Adobe XD. But this scenario I had to work with jpegs dropped into Miro.
Notable Features:
Addition of Finsweet Extensions to extend the site functionality. I added functionality for:
- Advanced Filtering
- Auto Pagination with page titles added
- I created an extensive library of components so the content staff could duplicate page features with no code changes. Content developers could swap out image, video and text elements without having to edit code.
- Website was 100% mobile responsive.
- Make code adjustments on the JazzyHR site so it could have the same fonts, colors and logos.
